Police released the body camera footage on Tuesday from a St. Paul officer who fatally shot a man just over a week ago.
Police Chief Todd Axtell released the video during a media briefing, after it was showed to Ronald Kerry Davis‘ family.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, which is investigating, says Davis rear-ended Officer Steve Mattson’s squad car on Sept. 15 at Thomas Avenue and Griggs Street.

Davis, 31, then confronted Mattson with a knife, according to the BCA.

Mattson repeatedly told Davis to drop the knife and shot him, the BCA said. The agency’s investigation is ongoing.
